I don’t want to sound super-jealous and paranoid but sometimes I get a weird vibe from Raye when it comes to Myrna and Luna. Definitely a bit of a fantasy for him! I’m kinda relieved they’re both off the menu, haha!

He’s so friggin’ hot, though! It’s easy to forgive a little sleaziness.

I’ve been trying to keep up with my photography and chronicling. Sometimes it can end up a little on the back-burner with everything else going on! I’m hoping to set up a publishing house soon so I can start printing the Hollyhead Herald on-masse rather than just posting it online. Gotta keep working hard.

“So I just wanted to say… I really, really like you. Love you, actually. And I wondered if you wanted to make it official.”

“What like, be exclusive?”

“Yeah, I guess. Like boyfriend-and-girlfriend.”

“Wow, um, yes! Okay! I love you too, if it wasn’t already totally obvious.” 

“Actually, it wasn’t. I’ve been worrying all week you weren’t going to say it back!”

“I keep saying, vampires don’t get cold. Jeez! ”

“I mean, I guess, but man…”

“...yeah, Clive got promoted again so he’s just working on building the funds for the station.”

“Hmm! Maybe I’ll help him out when he gets that off the ground. I’d love an excuse to beat people up.”

“I dunno if that’s the best reason to join the police.”

“Heh, maybe not. What about you? Any plans right now?”

“Eeeeh, not just yet.”

“You’re so lazy, dude! At least I’m helping Myrna out at the shop.”

“I can’t really deny that. But it’s tricky, you know? I don’t even know what I want to do.”

“I’ll light a fire.”

“Ooooh, I can do that!”

“Absolutely not. I don’t trust you not to set the house on fire.” 

“Hehehe, buuuuurn!”

“All right, all right. Put me down.”

I feel a little bad that Clive has to be around me and Raye all the time since we went official. We can be kind of sappy!

He seems pleased for us, but I don’t know, it’s gotta be a little awkward and I don’t want him to feel like a third wheel. We gotta try and tone it down, but it’s hard!!

In other news, I guess the higher-ups don’t think my reporting is up to their quality standards… it’s so unfair, my blog is great! 

Being sent home in the middle of the day definitely added an insult to injury. Uh, don’t they know I’m a vampire? Midday = bad!!! Bleh….

Clive doing so well doesn't help, either… His job is so easy, he doesn’t have to DO anything - there’s no crime in Hollyhead! So unfair. 

I can’t really hold it against him, though. He’s so charming and nice <3

Abi and Oli came over to visit. Whenever it’s both of them, they tend to forget everyone around them. Which is really cute but like, come on! It’s our house, not your love nest!

“It’s so nice hanging out with you! You’ve really opened up lately.”
